September 23, 2011Back in Black… well okay more like Burning Man
September 23, 2011All great blogs are both built and brought down by love or something like it. This seems the case for me and I am remiss to believe I am the only one.
In 2009 I built this blog as part of a series of activities to heal my broken heart and life. It worked. My posts stopped exactly at December 23, 2009, when the very next day I found new love or some like it. Let´s say it was more of a disaster than I could have wished upon anyone.
You saw my travels through Europe and Morocco in 2009 that lead to my new state of mind – a blissful state of Zen where I just knew things would workout.
2010 was filled with many successes all thwarted by drama. I finished a very successful year riding into my own Great Depression of 2011. However, this time I could not do it again. I could not find it myself to let ‘ love’ destroy me, let alone take another escapist romp around the world hoping to clear my head. Obviously this was the redux, my story hadn´t ended with a happily ever after but rather a state of worseness than before. This time I knew how Id gotten out the last time and I knew I could do it again. My big brek came with Burning Man
September 4th I returned from Burning Man.
